Why So Much Playtime?
According to Hofstra University Professor Doris Fromberg, young children learn best through meaningful play experiences. Play "pulls together the logical and creative parts of the brain".
Play is a full body activity that helps them develop skills they will need later in life.
University of Denver researchers. Bodrova,Germeroth, and Leong found that children teach themselves to regulate their emotions and think before they act when they play.
